Texas Hold’em Rules – Part 4

The Showdown And Conclusion

If by the end of the whole play there are still two or more opponents who are still in it, we will go to a showdown according to Texas Hold’em rules. Basically the players must now show their cards and the player with the highest combination of 5 cards will win the hand. This means in Texas Hold’em you do not necessarily need to use your hole cards for the combination, you can simply use all 5 community cards if it means you would win.

Once the big blind made his decision, we can move on to the flop. Usually the first card on top of the deck will be burned. Texas Hold’em rules state that the first card on top of the deck will be left face down and you’ll flip the following card.
